PLANET LOSCON SPACE STATION
RULES AND REGULATIONS

#1:   WEAPONS POLICY:   All Weapons for Costumes and otherwise, regardless of being "letter openers" or replica weapons, MUST BE PEACE BONDED (see #1-AB below). No real or realistic weapons, edged or otherwise, and NO projectile weapons of any sort.

#1-A:   The only place during the Convention where weapons may be utilized is during the MASQUERADE on Saturday, and only then. Please see Subset rules on Masquerade.

#1-AB:   PEACE BONDING:   Tied shut, Taped closed, and Unavailable by accident or design. Zip ties are available in the Convention Operation's Room for such purposes.

#1-B:   Any beings found with unbonded weapons will be asked to return said weapons back to their room, conveyance/vehicle/transportation, and/or kept in Operations until the end of the convention. Flap-covered pistol holsters may be asked to be opened. Security/Operations personnel have strict instructions to confiscate weapons, seize violators and toss them in the brig until the end of all time and/or at least until the end of the convention.

#2:   IDENTIFICATION:   To attend any of the convention events you need to be a registered member of the Convention and wear "those stinkin' badges." Any time you are in a convention area, please wear your badge VISIBLY. If you misplace your badge, please report it to the Registration Desk or Convention Operations. There may be a replacement fee. If you find someone else's badge, please return it to Convention Operations or Registration.

#3:   Paid adults must be accompanied by children age 12 and under at all times. No wait, that's wrong. Kids must be in the company of a Convention-Registered Adult at all time.

#4:   Children's Programming is NOT Child Care.

#5:   No Thermonuclear devices and/or Thermite charges for pyrotechnic displays.

#6:   There is NO Rule Six.

#7:   NO Silly String Devices and NO "Forever Bubbles." These chemical compounds are considered bad for those beings from Carpetland, Fireland, and Ventland. They also have a tendency to clog the Environmental Systems, not to mention being hard to remove from "Shagland," a sub-continent of Carpetland.

#8:   The guy who plays drums from "Brother".

#9:   See Rule 6 for Australians.

#10:   SMOKING is restricted to OUTDOOR Designated Areas and/or "Hotel Rooms for Smoking."

#10-A:   If you are from Tallos 7, a Methinite, or any number of C)-OR-2-^3HG type atmospheres please see Operations for a Atom-G-T87 Environmental Forcefield.

#11:   California State Laws (year 2002) apply to legal ages in regards to imbibing Alcohol, or other such activities. Please have your ID handy.

#12:   We consider it our Phannish and Legal Duty to refuse service to anyone acting irresponsibly.

#12-A:   IF you have a complaint concerning the convention or the hotel (other than problems with your personal room) please contact first Convention Operations or any of our Helpful Planet LosCon Staff Members.

#12-AC:   NO Costume is still NO Costume and is against convention policies. This equally applies to costumes that are edible or that leave trails - well, if you do do it, you clean it up.

#12-B:   Please do not tap on the glass.

#14:   Please Follow Hotel Guidelines (inquire at Information or Convention Operations) regarding proper adhesion devices for posting messages, party announcements, etc.

#15:   You can never have too much water in the Fission Reactor.

#15-D:   You can never look too long into a nuclear explosion.

#16:   I'll Explain It Later.

#17:   Wherever you go, there you are.

#18:   ConSuite consumables are to be KEPT IN the ConSuite Area.

)(8$:   I can't open the pod bay doors right now.

#23:   No Experimentation of antigravity devices upon furniture or other such items outside the windows of the accomodation areas, etc.

#45:   He/She/It/They/Those/Them - whomever kills the Con Chair gets to run the con ... (and I'd think very carefully about that if I were you ...)
