LOCAL FACILITIES
GUIDE

Welcome to LOSCON 30.   We are physically located in Burbank, California, United States of America, Planet Earth.   This particular city is geographically part of the newest Hollywood and home to many multi-media studios:  including Warner Brothers, Universal, Disney, and NBC.   This city is also where the television shows and movies you have come to know, and either love or hate, are produced.   Navigating around the spider-web pattern of streets of this town, you might just see some stars of the screen, stage, or radio.   Burbank, located directly North of Downtown Los Angeles, also provides a good central jump-off point for visiting most of what Southern California has to offer a visiting tourist.   See listed below some of the Local Area Attractions, Shopping Facilities, and Links to Sources of more Visitor Information.   A Restaurant Guide will be available at the Convention Information Desk.
