The 34th LOSCON will focus upon an investigation of the role Archaeology and Paleontology have had (and will have) in science fiction and fantasy.   We will have many authors, artists, scientists, and other experts participating in our theme-oriented programming tracks and demonstrations.   At the convention, you will be able to Dig into our Dig Box as well as admire many unique artifacts and fossils from around the world.   A Riddle Quest will challenge you as you explore our Dig Site at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.   There will also be the usual Science Fiction convention events you have come to enjoy - including the Art Show, Dealer's Room, Masquerade, Gaming, Anime, and Filking.   If you have never been to a Fan Run Convention before, explore the website to see the many opportunities for fun, learning, and exploration.

Convention activities start Friday, November 23rd at 10 AM and continue non-stop til midnight on Sunday, November 24th.   See the webpage for each department to get more specific hours of operation.
