There will be various services provided during and by the convention. These will include but are not limited to an Information Booth, Lost and Found, Newszine, Con Suite, Handicap Services, Fan Lounge, Parties and Fan Tables.
The Information Booth will be staffed by friendly personages who will provide information regarding the convention and local resources. It will be located on the main floor of the convention. Part of the Information services planned is the convention schedule in a Palm OS version with updates available at least once a day during the convention, care of our information technician Ed Hooper. A Pocket PC version may be available. A Palm OS emulator may also be available for Pocket PC.
Lost and Found will be in the Convention Operations room. The hours of operation will be Friday and Saturday from 8 AM to 10 PM and Sunday until the end of the convention.
There will be a daily newszine at Loscon 32 providing information and updates about the convention. This year it should be a real treat with an actual pro writer, John DeChancie, editing. Newszine Submissions should be turned in at the Information Booth or should be e-mailed now to our newszine editor, John DeChancie at newszine@loscon.org.
The Con Suite will be moving from the location of last year to make it more handicap accessible. The new location will be located on the 18th Floor, easily accessible from the convention floor via one of the six elevators and with restroom close by. It will be open during the hours in the table below.
