Carol Ann Alves, along with husband Jim, lives in the High Desert amid their massive library, a Star Wars collection and April, a pound rescued puddy cat.   When not scouting swap meets for that elusive Star Wars item, Carol and Jim enjoy traveling, reading (obviously with topic matters too numerous to mention), attending conventions, running their 15-foot steamboat when possible and generally just enjoying what life brings their direction.
