LOSCON 30 GUEST BIO

I am a medical editor by trade.   When I am not making my authors sound better, faster and stronger than they were before, I spend my spare time playing pyrate with Port Royal Privateers at Renaissance Faires and allowing small children to whack me with swords (much to the delight of their parents).   I also am involved with my local chapter of the National Space Society (space activist by marriage).   I'm really only half as scary as legend makes me out to be, except before coffee, when I am twice as scary.
