Cat Devereaux has been into costuming forever. Along the way she has costumed in TV, film and theatre. Much of her earlier work was the slash and burn style of construction required for the jobs. Today she prefers insanely detailed workmanship and recreation. She has worked all
levels of masquerades and fashion shows from gofer on up. She has judged at WorldCons and Costume Cons. She is co-author of "The Masquerade Handbook".
She loves teaching techniques to others. This has lately lead to creating the "Lord of the Rings Costume" website where folks gather for costume study and to share sewing techniques. She creates jewelry and doll clothing to continue her costuming
obsession.
