Unaware of Fandom until the age of 20, Rainy jumped in with both feet when a close friend brought it to her attention. She has volunteered for San Diego ComicCon, Gallifrey One, Loscon and others.
Rainy was a three-time president of the Jedi Knights, and is very sorry she no longer has the time to actively pursue the club since she moved away from their area. She also served as treasurer of the short-lived Star Trek Federation, which centered its activities around organizing charitable events. She formed a team from the club to walk in the March of Dimes Walk America for two years.
Rainy loves to read Tim Powers, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Anne McCaffrey, J K Rowland and many other authors. She is also an enthusiastic fan of many TV shows and films.
Rainy currently lives in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles with her family.
