Gary Westfahl is the author, editor, or co-editor of fourteen books about science fiction and fantasy, most recently Worlds Enough and Time: Explorations of Time in Science Fiction and Fantasy and No Cure for the Future: Disease and Medicine in Science Fiction and Fantasy.   He writes a bimonthly column for the science fiction magazine Interzone, regularly contributes to the Locus Online website, and is the 2003 recipient of the Science Fiction Research Association's Pilgrim Award for lifetime contributions to science fiction and fantasy scholarship.
