David Bratman

David Bratman has been a book reviewer and critic specializing in fantasy for many years.   He edited the Mythopoeic Society's bulletin Mythprint in 1980-95, and still writes for it.   His articles on Tolkien and other fantasy writers have appeared in various publications.   He compiled Ursula K. LeGuin: A Primary Bibliograph (1995) and edited The Masques of Amen House by Charles Williams (2000).   In fandom, David has been a member of Lasfapa, was active on Genie, and has worked on a few convention committees, notably as three-time Hugo administrator.   He once attended a LASFS board meeting even though he's not a member of LASFS.   David lives in San Jose and his wife, Berni Phillips, and two cats.
