Debra Levin reviewed the Agent Carter series, and found it enjoyable. Agents of Shield is not quite as good.

George McUrso: Animated Last Unicorn one of the most beautiful animated fantasy films ever done. Writing, performances, all quite beautiful. It’s available on DVD.

Michelle: There are screenings in So Cal. Check Facebook links.

Scratch reviewed Waistcoats & Weaponry. Third of a series of five, the Finishing School series.  Very enjoyable.

Nick Smith: movie theater review.  Arena, around the corner from the Egyptian, shows independent films with emphasis on SF and horror.

Spenser Davis reviewed Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. If you like digital reality stories like the Matrix, you’ll like this book.

Matthew Tepper: Cats saving humans.  A homeless cat in Russia came across a baby abandoned in a basket in a doorway in subzero temperatures.  Cat got into the basket and kept the baby warm, and meowed until some adults paid attention.

Scratch: On Facebook and Youtube there’s a scene where a household cat attacked a dog that was attacking the child of the house.

Marcia Minsky: 2/1/15 at 1 PM will be the first Loscon 42 meeting. Anybody and everybody is welcome. Bring ideas.

Debra reminded one and all to police their areas and put away chairs after the auction.
