The LASFS newsletter, De Profundis, carries announcements of general interest and the LASFS calendar, plus reduced versions of the LASFS meeting minutes ("The Menace of the LASFS") and the minutes of the preceding month's Board of Directors meeting.

LASFS Spotligh: a new internet series by and about the LASFS, making its debut May 1, 2011. Hosted by Charles Lee Jacson II, the series will post new installments once or twice a month to YouTube, and may be accessed there or through links on The Voices of Fandom or from here. After a special introductory episode by Charles Lee Jackson II, subsequent shows will feature a guest discussing his or her history with the club, or some aspect of club activities or history. Members Milt Stevens and Marty Cantor have already recorded segments. t presents highlights of LASFS History in video form.

The Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society Recommended Reading List for Children and Young Adults is a selection of science fiction and fantasy books suitable for children and young adults between the ages of 6 and 16.
